Problems That Heart Disease Can Cause

The heart, though only the size of a fist, is one of the hardest-working muscles in the body. It beats around 100,000 times a day, pumping 2000 gallons of blood a day through the body. The blood not only circulates oxygen and nutrients to the body’s tissues but it also takes waste products away from the tissues. Without this necessary function, the body would not be able to function and it would die. That’s why it is very important to keep your heart running at tip-top shape. With all of it's functions and it's significant vital role it plays it each and every single one of our lives, it's definitely no surprise whatsoever why we place a massive amount of concern and effort toward fighting, preventing and searching for ways to get rid of disease and other heart related issue alike, for good.

The disease that I am talking about can cause serious chaos in your life if not dealt with and taken under control in an efficient and aggressive, healthy manner. This is something that you have to take head on - and take down with no hesitation and believe me, it can be done- as there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of people that have successfully done so over the years.  What most people don’t realize is how serious heart disease is. When it gets serious enough, it can begin to have a negative effect on other organs and functions within the body - sort of like a ripple effect (starts with problems with the heart, and slowly effects vital processes else where).  It is, in fact, one of the many diseases that affect the heart muscle. In 2007, heart disease was the leading cause of death in not only the United States but Wales, England, Scotland, and Canada. Heart disease has many potential symptoms, such as:

·    -Shortness of breath
·    -Palpitations, which is the feeling that the heart has “skipped a beat”, is      fluttering, flip-flopping, or “running away”.
·    Chest discomfort
·    Angina, which can be mistaken for heartburn
·    Lethargy
·    Loss of consciousness, or syncope
·    Light-headed or dizziness

It can also cause mysterious pains that radiate or move through out different parts of the body (for instance, a pain that starts in the chest can move down to the back, or arms). These symptoms should not at any time be ignored. If heart disease is left untreated, it can result in cardiac arrest, heart failure, and eventually death. Not one of these symptoms indefinitely indicates that you have heart disease. For example, shortness of breath can be attributed to asthma, and syncope has four main causes of which only the cardiac cause is fatal. No matter what the sign or symptom that presents itself, its crucial to get it taken care of quickly. This is only a small and brief list of the potential problems that heart disease may cause a person that is suffering from it. Tell your doctor if you are experiencing any of the above symptoms.
